R/C Flight Sim Mailing ListI have recently started a discussion mailing list for anyone interested in R/C flight simulators. When you subscribe to the list you will be able choose whether to receive it as standard (individual messages arriving in your mailbox) or digest format (one mail a day with all the messages combined into it). The list will be unmoderated (at least initially) so any subscriber may post questions or responses at any time. Please see the description below for what will be on-topic. This will be your list and the more you join in, the more valuable and interesting it will become. I wish I didn't have to say this but...bad language, off-topic messages, excessive adverts and flaming other list members will not be tolerated. Offenders may be unsubscribed from the list for a cooling off period. The list management software also has the ability to "ban-list" people to prevent them from re-subscribing. Let's hope it is not needed.
Click to subscribe to RCFlightSim Description : For all users of Radio Control flight simulators, fixed-wing and/or helicopter, to discuss the use, set up and trouble-shooting of these computer programs. The list is fairly technical in content and is dedicated specifically to R/C simulators and others when used for training in R/C flying. It is expected that most discussion will be about sims other than RealFlight e.g. CSM, Aerofly, Helix, Dave Brown, TruFlite, FMS and any others I've forgotten. RealFlight users should be aware that they already have a dedicated mailing list for trouble-shooting etc. though they are welcome on this list too. Discussion of the relative merits of the various simulators is encouraged but please keep them polite. Comments of the type "XXX is brilliant and the rest are rubbish" will not be welcome. To subscribe to the list click on the "Join list" link above. Once subscribed, to send email to the community, use the email address RCFlightSim@onelist.com |
