Added new field definition from Argentina (I think).

New mailing list for anyone interested in any R/C flight sims, not just CSM. See RCsim list page for more information.

Having problems with running or installing CSM (V9 or V10) ? Have a look at the hints and tips page before you panic.

These pages are for all modellers who are working with the NHP/CSM flight simulator, still the best there is for serious R/C flight training. If you are not already familiar with this simulator visit NHP/CSM Home Page for more information.

Models are available for both Version 9.1 and the new Version 10 of the simulator. They are not interchangeable so please follow the correct link.

Version 9 Planes and Helicopters

Version 10 Planes and Helicopters

Different field layouts -V9 or 10

Don't forget to save your own favourite model profiles (from either version of the sim) and send them to slewin@hotmail.com for everyone else to share. Thanks.

Flying fields

These fields should work in either V9 or V10 but I have as yet only tried them in V9 myself. If you have any trouble with them please let me know. Thanks

As I'm sure you know you can also customise the flying field in CSM though not many people seem to have bothered. The only ones I have seen so far have been the helicopter field from Nick Salmon's website, which is well worth a visit and this one from Don Attwood which is set up for pattern flying (nice and simple but with several very tall pylons. I guess they help mark the 'box' you have to stay in, please correct me if I'm wrong Don).

To download Don's field + instructions click here . Use right click, Save Target As (IE3/4) or Save Link As (Netscape)

And there is another new field available from the St. Louis RC Flying Association. Club member Bart Asher spent many hours creating this very detailed setup which contains both a plane strip (with club house) and a Heli square. It is contained in a self-extracting .exe but is mostly new files so should not mess up your existing fields too badly. I suggest unzipping it into a Temp directory, checking the readme.txt file and then copying into your CSM directory.

Stop Press Bart has said that he is willing to program a field for any other club (I hope he doesn't live to regret this generosity). So if you are interested in having your own club field programmed into CSM contact Bart Asher (basher@genam.com)

And yet another field, this time from Argentina. Click here for the Aero Dolores field.

Any problems, enhancement requests, models you'd like added to the list or just general comments on the swapper program or the models please mail me at slewin@hotmail.com
